Why do I need an account to view whats in stock or see prices? Stupid. Also the stars arent representing the true rating. Must be filtering reviews

I just want to see whats available in the store. DO I HAVE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT?!?!!?? Cant I just go to the app, like I have for years, and see whats available, what prices to budget for, like I would with a normal store app? DO I HAVE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT?!?!!?? Why DO I HAVE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT? Are you guys hurting for money or something? Im not going to use the app now. I now may or may not go to the store- I have a lot of stops to make, and push come to shove, Im going to skip the place I dont have advance information about. Multiply that demographically. Do the math. Youre costing your company money, because app users now HAVE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT.

This app breaks often. First I couldnt add a gift card to my cart. Then an update fixed that and I was able to use Apple Pay. Great! Then another update and now Apple Pay isnt working. Developers must be struggling.

What a bunch of crap that we now need user and login!! I see my trips to Target declining since I cant easily browse the ad! I refuse to have ONE more anything that requires a login!!

I was actually in the store earlier today and made a purchase but forgot something and didnt feel like driving back, so I ended up buying it online. The app is very easy to use checkout was breeze!

Just deleted. Can no longer use without logging in.

Ive had an account for years so logging in to browse is not an issue for me. However, I use the app to create a list, apply cartwheel, then go shopping. What happened to my aisle numbers? I have to click on each item and wait for the description to see what aisle its located on. It may not seem like that big of a deal but I loved it. I might as well just write my list and scan product as I go. At least Ill save money by not browsing through the app.

I really enjoyed that I could use the app to shop and check availability before going to the store because the Target isnt exactly close for me. I just deleted the app though because it wouldnt let me even look at anything until I created an account! Sorry, I dont need emails from EVERY store. Ill gladly download it again if they let me use it without creating an account.

Newest version not allowing sign-in with iPhone 6 plus, running IOS 10.3.3 This is the error message on both the Target and Target Cartwheel App when the correct password is used. {"errors":[{"errorKey":"_ERR_BAD_REQUEST","errorMessage":"Required String parameter redirect_uri is not present","clientId":"cw-ios-1.0.0"}]}

Update: aug 10 2017 First review of mine was 7 years ago. This app deserves 0 stars. I refuse to create yet another account just to browse their store. So, no choice but to delete this app. I really like this app. Loaded great. No problems on my 3Gs iPhone. I would give it 5 stars but its missing a search engine.

I cant use the app anymore without logging in with an account. Forcing users to log in to shop at your store is not a good idea. App deleted.

I really like shopping with the Target app. Its easy to use and checkout is fast and efficient. My one request would be to improve the wish list. Its hard to tell when Ive added something to my list. Id like the wish list to show images of products. Thank you

Congratulations .. you took a perfectly good reference app for sales in your store and wrecked it with mandatory account login We get it, you want to track your customers shopping and spending habits .. I have an account, so using this app would not be a problem .. however since Im not logged in 100% of the time for my own reasons .. I wont be needing this (or Cartwheel) on my phone Your sales and specials were never really tailored to my interests anyway and just the idea youre pushing Cartwheel as hard as you are makes the decision to stop endorsing this app super easy

So I cant browse target products on the app without creating an account? No thanks. Deleting the app!

Why do I need to Sign in and create an account? Previous version much better!

Why do I have to log in or even create an account to use the app? If I dont do so I cant use the app??? How about, Target, if I decide whether I want to log in to use the app!! Fix this and revert back to the old version.

With the new update make sure you enter your email/password when it prompts you at the beginning. The app works perfectly after doing so. Super easy check out. Love shopping on the app!

Newest version wont open. Tells you to login but then website crashes. So basically Target killed their app.

Updated. I have a sign-in/log-in and it wont let me login just sits on a white screen then force closes. Useless.

Loved my Target app and my Cartwheel app, and was excited that everything would be in one app. I updated the app to the latest version, and now cant get past the Lets get started page. I even changed my Target password thinking I had the wrong one. I can sign in everywhere else to my account, but app doesnt do anything, and yes Ive even deleted it and tried downloading again:(
