Target App Reviews

This review is for version 9.0.0. I cant even open the app anymore. If I tap to open it, there is a "Sign In" button. I have a target account, so I tap the button to sign in and nothing happens. Just the little spinning starburst. I know its not my connection, because Safari works, as well as all of my other apps that require a connection. So I have yet to experience the new update, because the app is worthless at this point.

I cant put items from my cart to "save for later". I dont get notified when an item I had in my cart went out of stock. I cannot send a link of the product to someone through the app. Also, if anyone has location services turned on and you scan an item through the app to check if its cheaper on target.com so you can price match, the app will give you the price the item costs in the store so essentially, you wont know if its cheaper online unless you check through a web browser.

Which the latest update you have to sign in just to get info. I dont want an account

Now requires signing in just to find something in their stores! Talk about stupid! Just to locate something, you have to allow them to track you! I like others have now deleted this terrible app. Also lost Watch integration back s couple versions. Not going to walk around the store filling my shopping cart with my phone in one hand. Watch integration made this app usable.

Why are users being forced to create a Target account just to use the Target app? I am so upset about this, and I really REGRET updating the app in the first place. UGH. I used to use the app to check item availability and weekly deals and whatnot. Now Im completely locked out of the app until I surrender my personal information to create a Target account. Isnt logging into the app with my Facebook account enough? Please please just allow users to login with their Facebook account or Google accounts again. It was so convenient and easy for me to do that. It saved me so much time and money ???

See no reason for me to have an account to use this app. It has been deleted!!!

It was time consuming to check out. Once I wanted to check out, the circle just kept spinning & did not move to a new page. When I checked back later, the program had added several multiples of items that I had ordered but not in those amounts. This was very disturbing. Also with the Red Card, I thought I had free shipping but again the program kept telling me I had to order $25.00 to get free shipping. So, what is it?? It is certainly a lot easier and less time consuming to order from ANY of your competitors.

Love the app and screen shopping.

New update requires you have an account to view weekly ads. I uninstalled it. I will just shop on Amazon then.

New version requires an account. You can no longer just browse or search without being signed in. There is now no reason at all to use, or even have this app.

Wont allow me to login. Needs to be fixed.

For a company that have proven they cant keep your credit card information safe, they want want you to volunteer more private information in order to just browse. What a joke. Uninstall.

Their customer service was soo good. We had super helpful staff on the phone and online chats were super helpful as well and resolved all our problems.

Need Target account to use app.

App wants you to sign into your account but it doesnt allow you to sign into your account. I have an account but still cant sign in. Whats up with that? It doesnt allow you to do anything right now. Looks like the update needs an update.
