Target App Reviews

I regularly use this app for the weekly add and for online shopping. But I am considering abandoning it due to the fact the App now requires users to create an account to use it. I am not interested in creating yet another account for yet another service, especially when my primary use of the app is to look up items price/availability before shopping trips. Such a shame -- this was a great app before this change. It was reliable and had an fluid user experience.

This app was fine, worked as needed & now you need to log in to be able to even do anything. Well guess what? Its not on my phone anymore & I probably wont ever shop at your store again. I got to find out yesterday as I was standing in target & thought something was on sale but the tag was taken down early to get ready for the new ad, no problem I understand, so I pull my phone out, open the app to check the ad & boom you must log in. I couldnt do anything, very annoying. Now the app is uninstalled & I wont return to your stores especially on Saturday evenings because most of that weeks ad was taken down. Congrats, moving on!

I shouldnt have to sign in just to look at the weekly ad.

Ive left many apps that decide to require sign in for no reason. Make it a convenience option. Not mandatory.

I mainly used this app to check the local weekly advertisements. Forcing me to create an account just lost you a customer. Plus, making it impossible to browse without being logged in makes it a lot easier to just make purchases at Amazon instead of checking to see if my local Target has an item. Good job, sending money I might have spent in your stores straight to your competition. Im honestly a little surprised by how dumb this decision is. ?

I wont be using app until mandatory login is removed.

This is stupid. Whos bright idea was it to make an account mandatory to use app? I cant log in since the update even and I HAVE AN ACCOUNT!!!

For some reason Target feels the need to force me into creating an account when all I want to do is view the weekly ad through the app. APP DELETED.

Nothing makes me uninstall an app faster than forcing me to create an account just to view your stores products.

Instantly deleted the app now that you have to log into an account to use it. Congratulations your app is now useless to most users now.

Making it a mandatory account sign in is a terrible idea. I will be deleting this app.

Ever since you guys updated the Target and Cartwheel app, I have not be able to login to either app. I have had this problem for at least 2 wks now. Therefore I have not been shopping at Target ever since. Please update the apps and address the issue.

The app itself is fine, but I really dont appreciate that it forces you to sign in/make an account. I would get cartwheel/make an account if I wanted one.

Why do you make me create an account and sign in just to browse your prices? I dont want all the extra email spamming and everything else that comes with creating an account. I just want to shop your prices. Guess I wont be shopping at Target.

I used to use this app to know when to go to target rather than use amazon. Now with mandatory login I guess Im just back to only amazon shopping. Nice work target.

I was using the app about two weeks ago in Target- app crashed. Since then I havent been able to use the app as it continuously crashes. So disappointing.
